Dean Norman Murray, 21, of Washoe Valley, Nevada, joined his
heavenly family on Monday, January 9, 2006. Dean was born January 19, 1984 in Reno,
NV, raised in Portola and Washoe Valley and graduated in 2002 from Galena High School.
Dean was employed as a produce journeyman for Safeway in Reno. He was an avid computer
gamer, loved music, movies, riding dirt bikes, and spending time with his best and
closest friends. Surviving are his father Russell and Lisa Murray of Washoe Valley, NV; mother, Desiree Balagno of Portola, CA; brother and sister-in-law, Justin and Crystal Mann of Riverside, CA; step-brothers and sister Daniel and Timothy Molter and Alyssa Palmer of Chico, CA; grandparents Benjamin and Peggy Murray of Washoe Valley and Clara and Mario Ceragioli of Walnut Creek, CA; his aunts and uncles, Kathy Garner of West Valley, UT; Brenda and Robert Turley of Sparks, NV; Julie and Mark Dockham of Concord, CA; as well as many cousins, nieces, and nephews. A memorial service is being held at the Washoe Valley LDS Church, 440 McClellan Drive, Washoe Valley, NV 89704 at 11:30 AM, Saturday, January 14, 2006. Following services, a graveside vigil will be held at Walton’s Carson Gardens, 1281 No. Roop Street, Carson City, NV. The Murray Family asks, that in lieu of flowers, contributions to help defray costs for funeral expenses, be sent to Russell Murray, 3080 Lyon Lane, Washoe Valley, NV 89704.
